Information about membership and the club
Our Club’s annual subscription for 2015 – 16 is £115 and must be paid to Treasurer Robbie during July.
Club Council comprises Club Officers, Committee Chairs, elected and co-opted members. The council usually meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 6pm at the Plas Hyfryd.
Participation in Club activities is a fundamental part of Rotary membership benefitting individual Rotarians and the Club. Consequently, all members are encouraged to attend weekly meetings, social functions and visits. The Club diary contains details of dates and venues. It will be issued each month looking ahead for three months.
If, for example, due to illness, family or business commitments, you are unable to attend for a while please discuss this with the Welfare Officer and request “Leave of Absence”. The Welfare Officer will keep in touch and try to assist if possible
As a courtesy to the staff at the Plas Hyfryd and your fellow members please notify the Hotel, The President and the Secretary by 12 noon on the day of the meeting if you are unable to attend. You may be charged for the cost of the meal for a later apology or no apology. If you expect to be absent frequently, please ask to be added to the “Default Apology” list and then let the Hotel know if you do intend to be present for a meal.
As a Rotarian, you are entitled to attend the meeting of any other Rotary Club worldwide. If you wish to do so, the Secretary has contact details for all Clubs on CD. Please contact the secretary of the club you wish to visit to check on the arrangements for the meeting you wish to attend.
The Narberth & Whitland Club’s Charter (1023) was granted on 20th April 1966. We look forward to celebrating our 50th Anniversary during the current Rotary year.
