“Wednesday 26th November saw the first round of Narberth and Whitland Rotary’s annual Youth Speaks competition being held at The Plas in Narberth.
Three teams from Dyffryn Taf School participated, with the winning team in each age group progressing to the West Wales Area round of the national competition being held at Carmarthen in February.
The winning team in the Senior Age Group ( under 18 ) comprised Max Clarke, Sarah Farrant and Betsy Cole. Winners in the Intermediate Age Group team were Warren Pearce, Jasmine Pettifer, and Nina Gower.
The other Under 14 team of Delilah Sealey, Zain Javid, and Siraj Javid were complimented on their participation by competition adjudicators Rhiannon James and Nan Llewellin.
